Guys With Kids Portrays Positive Black Family
Tempestt Blesdoe, former "Cosby Show" star, believes that the upcoming NBC sitcom, Guys With Kids, portrays a "positive Black family".
On Guys With Kids, Tempestt Blesdoe plays Marny, wife to Gary and mother of two. Anthony Anderson, who plays Gary, agrees with her, citing that on network television, there aren't really any portrayals of positive black families, like "The Cosby Show".
“We just don’t have that right now, not on network television,” says Anthony Anderson, “Like the Cosby Show, this will be an opportunity to see the love, support, humor and beauty of a black family on TV.”
